Fort Macleod RCMP target repeat offenders during week long investigation

A total of seven people are facing a list of charges stemming from a joint operation by Fort Macleod RCMP and the Southern Alberta District Crime Reduction Unit (SADCRU).

The operation, which was conducted throughout last week, resulted in the seizure of a stolen vehicle, license plate, iPhone and two IDs, as well as two grams of methamphetamine and one mililitre of heroin.

David Archibald Hearn, 46, Joshua Theodore Hibbs, 18, Shaun William Vanee, 21, Kenneth Lorne Grier, 57, and Bobbie Jo Parks, 36, all of Fort Macleod, and Kyle Dean Jordan, 26 of Lethbridge, and Victor North Peigan, 32 of Brocket, are all facing various stolen property, drug and failure to comply with recognizance charges.

They are scheduled to appear in court in August and September.

The RCMP says its crime reduction strategy uses intelligence-led investigative tactics to target repeat offenders.

I started my radio career in 2015, shortly after graduating from Lethbridge College. I have a very strong passion for local news. Proudly born in 1994, I grew up most of my life in Sylvan Lake, AB and I've lived in the Lethbridge since 2012. I'm a below average golfer on a good day, I take as many hiking trips to Waterton as possible in the summer and I love my two cats, Outlaw and Jynx, and my dog, Maverick, more than most people I know. I look forward to providing accurate, timely news coverage in southern Alberta for plenty of years to come!
