Correctional Service of Canada investigating death of Drumheller inmate

An inmate died over the weekend while in custody at the Drumheller Institution.
The Correctional Service of Canada noting in a news release that 42-year old Jason Claude Tremblay was serving a sentence of four years and nine months for drug trafficking charges.
The medium security unit remains on lockdown and visits are temporarily suspended as staff conduct a thorough search.
Normal operations are expected to resume as soon as it’s considered safe to do so.
As in all cases of deaths involving inmates, the Correctional Service will review the circumstances of this incident.
