UPDATE: Westbound Highway 3 between Lethbridge and Coalhurst re-opened, RCMP investigating

UPDATE: Police have re-opened the westbound lanes of Highway 3 between Lethbridge and Coalhurst, along with the northbound lanes along Westside Dr at the city limits. Members of the RCMP have taken over the carriage of the investigation from the Lethbridge police service.

Drivers are advised to expect delays on Highway 3 between Lethbridge and Coalhurst as Lethbridge Police are investigating a severe collision.

The westbound lanes of Highway 3 between Lethbridge and Coalhurst have been closed, along with the northbound lanes of Westside Drive on the city limits. Drivers are being detoured along Highway 3 through the Town of Coalhurst.

Police will provide updates on the lane closures as they can; no other information is available at this time.
