Taking a new pet home is a big decision! The more someone learns and reads up on the care requirements of a particular animal, the better. We have tip sheets for every animal available for adoption at Petland that provide valuable information about their specific needs.
It’s also crucial to consider whether they would get lonely on their own and whether they are social creatures who would benefit from having a friend.
Impulsive decisions when it comes to a new fur, feathered, or scaled family member should be avoided. We genuinely believe in the human-animal bond, and these wonderful pets find their forever homes when adopted into their new families.
We also believe in working with and supporting the rescues in our community that work so hard to help animals in need and improve their lives.
December is a beautiful season of giving, joy, and reflection on the less fortunate. Every December at Petland, we strive to fill our Christmas sleigh with food and supplies for many of these animals.
When anyone at Petland makes a purchase of supplies to go straight into our donation sleigh, which is set up in the store, they will receive up to 40% off those items! We are hopeful to gather a large collection of donations!
