Coaldale Kinsmen raffle and jackpot support community projects

Two lucky winners were announced for the Kinsmen Club of Coaldale annual 50/50 jackpot and Harley Raffle.

Coaldale local Reynaldo Robles won $208,857 in the 50/50 jackpot of $417,715. “I never thought I would win something like this. It’s truly life changing and I’m so thankful to the Kinsmen Club for this incredible prize,” he said.

Leonard Ferguson from Grand Prairie takes home $40,000 cash from the raffle. “I can’t believe I won! This is such an amazing prize and I’m so grateful to the Kinsmen Club for this opportunity,” he said.

The raffle and jackpot  raised money to support community projects, including revitalization of the town’s skatepark. The Kinsmen pledged $400,000 for the project, which the town committed to matching.

“We are so grateful for the support of our sponsors and the community. The funds raised from the ticket purchases will go towards what the Kinsmen do best by serving the community’s greatest need, allowing Kinsmen to continue making a positive impact in and around Coaldale,” said Jack Van Rijn, Harley Raffle chairman. “We are thrilled to see the excitement and joy on the faces of our winners, and we are grateful to everyone who purchased a ticket. Your support allows us to continue serving our community and making a difference.”
