Two men are deceased after a two-vehicle collision on Highway 23 Wednesday night.
According to RCMP members from both Fort McLeod and the Picture Butte detachments were called to the scene on Highway 23 and Township Road 104 around 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 9th. According to police both drivers, a 52-year-old man from Nipawin, Saskatchewan and a 63-year-old man from Taber were pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other people who were passengers were taken to hospital with what officials believe to be “non-life threatening injuries.”
Mounties say that the preliminary investigation of the scene determined one of the vehicles crossed the center line and struck the other. According to officials, the investigation into the two-vehicle collision is ongoing.
