Food trucks and mobile vending machines can now operate, without requiring specific permission, in three City of Lethbridge parks.
According to the City, the three parks are Indian Battle Park, Lethbridge Sports Park and the Park ‘n’ Bark Dog Park.
All vendors must have a valid Mobile Food Vending Permit. Merchants can contact 3-1-1 and ask to speak to the traffic technologist or parking coordinator. Retailers wishing to access other City parks can also contact 3-1-1.
The increased parks access is a pilot project for 2024 and may be subject to change.
