A southern Alberta concrete provider has been purchased by an Edmonton-based company.
The RMC Group has acquired the assets of Noble Concrete and says it will retain all staff and customer contracts.
The business will also continue to operate under the Noble Concrete brand.
Originally founded in Nobleford in 1970, and now headquartered in Picture Butte, Noble Concrete started as a ready mix concrete company using bagged cement and two mixers.
It’s grown to become one of southern Alberta’s leading concrete providers with 12 mixers, two gravel trucks and a portable concrete plant.
Noble Concrete also has locations in Vulcan and Claresholm.
The RMC Group’s CEO Rod Taverner, says “the strategic acquisition further demonstrates our commitment to the Alberta marketplace. We look forward to expanding our service offerings in southern Alberta and building on the outstanding business foundation Noble Concrete has developed over the last 45 years.”
