Highway 3 near Lundbreck was closed for a large part of Saturday after a fatal collision.
According to RCMP, members from the Crowsnest Pass and Pincher Creek detachments responded to a collision between a motorcycle and minivan around 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 8th. According to police the motorcycle which had two people on it rounded a curve in the road and struck the other vehicle straight on.
The 59-year-old man driving the motorcycle and 43-year-old woman who was a passenger on the bike both passed away as a result of the collision. The pair were said to be from the Lethbridge area.
According to police, the pair were from the Lethbridge area, and the cause of the collision is still under investigation.
