Holy Spirit School Division welcomes interim superintendent

Beginning in August, the Holy Spirit School Division welcomes Dr. Scott Morrison as interim superintendent ahead of the 2024/2025 school year.

Morrison, who was raised in Taber, has been an educator for over 30 years. His leadership experience includes serving as an elementary school principal, a high school principal, a division principal and an associate superintendent.

“The Board of Trustees is looking forward to Dr. Morrison’s leadership of the school division, as we begin the search process for a new superintendent,” says Board Chair Carmen Mombourquette.

It is the intent of the board to have a new superintendent in place for November, adds Mombourquette.

“I’m excited to return to the area I was raised to support the Holy Spirit School Division, as they do a thorough search for a permanent superintendent,” says Morrison.
