Pincher Creek RCMP respond to Highway 6 collision 

UPDATE: The RCMP has confirmed that the collision scene has been cleared. Police say the incident involved a semi and was a single-vehicle collision.

The Pincher Creek RCMP is on scene of a collision in southern Alberta. 

Not too many details are available, but police say the incident is serious.

It occurred Monday afternoon on Highway 6 by Twin Butte. The RCMP did not immediately say how many vehicles or people were involved.  

As of 3 p.m., traffic is unable to get through the collision scene. Drivers are being asked to take alternate routes.
