Hundreds gathered in Lethbridge on Tuesday morning for the 2024 Whoop-Up Days Parade. Over 90 floats were registered for the popular spectacle.

The parade was followed up by the Mayor’s Community Barbecue outside City Hall.

Justin Goulet brings over a decade of experience to the Lethbridge newsroom. He started his career in Ontario before moving to Vancouver Island in 2014 to work with Vista Radio. He moved to Alberta in February 2019 and joined the Lethbridge team in June 2024. Justin is excited to share the stories of southern Alberta.
At the end of the month members of the Lethbridge community are invited to come together to raise funds and awareness about organ donation during the Lethbridge Kidney Walk.
Over the next three months, Alberta will be welcoming 12 major sporting events to the province, including the IPSC Canadian Handgun Nationals July 28 to Aug. 3 in Taber.
