Southern Alberta Toy Run hits the road Saturday

This Saturday, the 43rd Annual Southern Alberta Toy Run is set to bring together motorcycle enthusiasts and community members for a day filled with camaraderie, excitement and the spirit of giving.

The event will kick off at Honkers Pub with a hearty breakfast served between 8:30-9:45 a.m. Following this, the much-anticipated motorcycle parade will leave promptly at 10 a.m., showcasing a stunning display of bikes, as they traverse through the heart of our community.

But the fun doesn’t end there. After the parade, participants will enjoy a scenic benefit ride, culminating in a wrap-up party back at Honkers starting at 5 p.m. The evening will feature door prizes and an opportunity to celebrate the day’s achievements.

“This event is not just a ride. It’s a tradition of giving. We aim to surpass previous donation records this year and with your support, we know it’s possible,” says Event Organizer Dallas Harty.

Participants are encouraged to bring a toy or cash donation, which will be distributed to local charities, making a significant impact on the lives of local children.

“We’re grateful for the unwavering support of our local charities and community members,” adds Harty. “Together, we can continue to bring joy and support to those who need it most.”
