Town of Taber Crews will be doing seasonal work on parks and green spaces in the community to wrap up the summer.
According to municipal officials, signs have been put up in these areas advising people in the coming weeks crews will be applying herbicide and doing some seasonal maintenance in the area. Parks will remain open while the work is done, however, users are being asked to stay off the grass until it is dry.
A statement from Town of Taber officials reads, “This is one of the busiest times for our recreation staff as we try to wrap up our fields and parks as well as operating the arenas.”
The herbicide work is expected to wrap up on September 20th.
