Creepy Hollow is gearing up for another horrifying and scarifying season of spookiness next month with the return of the haunted attraction’s “Fright Nights” and the fiendishly-fun “Fright Fest.”
Freak Show Director Victoria Holmes says come on out and step foot on Creepy Hollow’s thrilling 20-acre property of everything Halloween. “Take a stroll into the Mystery Maze and visit the Ghost Town. Can you hear the ghosts whispering in the wind? If you’re brave enough, you might take a walk through the Forbidden Forest and see if you can spot any ghouls or ghosts.”
“Take a peek into our Monster Hall and for the souls brave enough, dare you try to come into the ever-evolving Haunted Mansion and see what lurks in every corner that’s waiting,” adds Holmes.
“Fright Night” kicks off Oct. 4 and runs Thursdays to Sundays from 6-10 p.m. Creepy Hollow is open for groups and by appointment only Mondays to Wednesdays.
For those not comfortable with getting too scared, “Hours for Chickens” run Thursdays to Sundays from 3-6 p.m. “If they come after 6 p.m. it’s ‘Fright Night,'” notes Holmes, but “Fright Night” is open for all ages.
The second annual “Fright Fest” is being held Oct. 11 from 5-11 p.m. for a “twisted treat,” featuring live bands and extended hours for all attractions. The event will also feature a costume contest and a chance to win prizes.
“We have three, possibly four local bands that are going to hit the Franken Stage starting at 5 p.m.,” says Holmes. The “Franken Fest” music festival was held earlier this month at Creepy Hollow, located near Warner.
“Come for the music and stay for the scares – if you dare,” notes Holmes.
Creepy Hollow is also looking for volunteers for the season. For more information visit www.facebook.com/p/Creepy-Hollow-from-the-creators-of-Stirling-Haunted-Mansion-100063621517653.
