Three teens are in hospital in critical condition and RCMP are investigating after it was found the southern Alberta boys had ingested opioid pills.
Sunday morning (Sept. 22), a 16 year old boy was taken to a Strathmore hospital with Mounties later learning that two other 15 year old boys were also taken to hospital under similar circumstances.
It was revealed all three had went to the same house party the previous night and are suspected of taking opioid pills.
Strathmore RCMP continue to investigate, noting the safety of youth is a priority. The public is also being assured that is an isolated incident.
No further information is being released at this time.
