Home prices in Lethbridge saw one of the largest year-over-year increases across the province in August.
According to the latest report from the Alberta Real Estate Association, home prices in the city jumped 12.6 per cent to $392,837.
Sales in the city also saw a double-digit increase, with 195 properties sold, a 10.8 per cent bump from 2023. In August alone, apartment sales had the largest bump, with 26 units sold, a 44 per cent increase.
In the first eight months of 2024, Lethbridge saw a seven per cent increase in home sales, with detached homes being the number one seller with 1,015 properties sold over the 31 days.
