Three people are facing drug and weapons-related charges connected to a search warrant that was executed early Friday morning in Taber.
According to Taber Police Service officials, Taber Police officers and RCMP Emergency Response Unit members executed the warrant at a home in the 5900 block of 64th Avenue in Taber. During the search, police are reported to have found varying amounts of meth, powder and crack cocaine, along with $2,000 cash and drug paraphernalia. Police also reported seizing a flashlight stun gun and an illegal loaded shotgun. The combined street value of the drugs and cash is alleged to be $15,000. The street value of drugs and cash seized is over $15,000.
Forty-two-year-old Theresa Marie Wallis is facing half a dozen charges, including multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance for trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime.
Twenty-five-year-old Kade Leslie Phillips is facing multiple charges similar to Wallis and 32-year-old Jonathan Milton Janes is facing charges for the unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of a prohibited firearm.
Following judicial interim release hearings, Wallis and Janes have been remanded into custody, while Philips has been released on bail.
