‘Skip the Scale’ to benefit The Veterans Association Food Bank

Two Veteran-serving organizations have teamed up with National Salvage for the next two months to raise funds and awareness.

“Skip the Scale” is a charity program collecting scrap metal donations for The Veterans Association Food Bank for the month of November. The Veteran Association is more than a food bank. It’s a safe place. The Veterans Helping Veterans initiative is a program developed to connect to what is needed by Veterans and their families. It’s an ongoing program that is growing and evolving.

For the month of December, “Skip the Scale” will be benefiting Kilo-9, an organization dedicated to delivering K9 companionship and training to Veterans dealing with PTSD, based on the needs of the individual and group.

National Salvage is inviting the community and businesses to join in supporting these amazing organizations.
