Lethbridge to recognize Remembrance Day with two ceremonies 

Veterans will be honoured across the country on Monday, November 11. 

In Lethbridge, two Remembrance Day ceremonies are scheduled to take place.  

INDOOR CEREMONY 

A parade and service, hosted by the General Stewart Branch #4 of the Royal Canadian Legion, will be held indoors at the Agri-food Hub and Trade Centre.  

The doors will open for the event at 10 a.m., with the ceremony set to start at 10:45 a.m. 

OUTDOOR CEREMONY 

A concurrent ceremony will happen outdoors at the Cenotaph on Veterans Avenue (4 Avenue South) outside the Yates Memorial Centre.  

This program will be led by the 20th Independent Field Battery and begins at 10:45 a.m. The outdoor event will feature a fly-past from a 1952 Harvard MK IV aircraft as well as a C-17 Globemaster by the 429 Transport Squadron of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Additionally, on Remembrance Day, the Lethbridge Military Museum will be open with free admission from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.  

The museum is at the Vimy Ridge Armoury near the Lethbridge Airport.
