International Education Week highlights cultural diversity at the U of L

International Education Week is being celebrated at the University of Lethbridge now until Nov. 22, in collaboration with the Students’ Union Culture Week.

More than 85 countries are represented at ULethbridge each semester. Over 800 students and employees have roots outside of Canada. International Education Week is an opportunity to learn more about the world outside of Lethbridge’s borders.

Events include a Study Abroad Fair Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the PE Foyer, Australian Aboriginal Dot Painting Wednesday at noon and a Living Library.

The Living Library runs Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Instead of borrowing a book, the Living Library lets participants borrow a person and learn about their country and culture.

For more information or a full list of events visit online at ulethbridge.ca/international/content/international-education-week-0.
