Volunteer Lethbridge offers seasonal gift wrapping services

Volunteer Lethbridge has provided seasonal gift wrapping services to residents for the last 15 years. After a brief hiatus, the holiday service is back at a new location at Canadian Tire South.

“Approximately 150 volunteers will work with Volunteer Lethbridge to wrap gifts for residents that would just rather have that task done by someone else. The gifts will be beautifully presented and ready to gift,” notes Volunteer Lethbridge. The organization wraps gifts for a nominal donation to Volunteer Lethbridge.

“These donations help us to recruit, screen and place volunteers in other non-profit organizations throughout the year,” adds Volunteer Lethbridge.

Wrapping was previously done at Park Place Mall for years, according to Volunteer Lethbridge. Wrapping will take place Dec. 2-23 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

“We’ll be wrapping at Canadian Tire South and will wrap gifts purchased there or brought in from other stores. We’ll wrap almost anything. Our last initiative saw us wrapping a ladder.”

Chelsea Eastman of Volunteer Lethbridge says not only is this a great fundraiser for Volunteer Lethbridge, “it’s a great opportunity for people to volunteer with their friends, family or colleagues and really get into the holiday spirit.”
