The City of Lethbridge wants you to join the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board – one of the many boards, committees and commissions that exist to make the city a better place. Â
This quasi-judicial board offers a unique opportunity for residents to contribute to the City’s present and future by playing an active role in important decisions that shape the community.Â
Applications will be open until Feb. 28.Â
In 2023, City Council introduced an honourarium policy for members of BCCs – demonstrating the value placed on public service in these roles.Â
If you’re interested in applying, you’re encouraged to review the BCC toolkit and the list of BCCs for details on eligibility, term lengths and meeting schedules at lethbridge.ca/council-administration-governance/boards-commissions-and-committees.
The Office of the City Clerk oversees board-member recruitment, appointments and training on behalf of City Council. Â
For further information contact the Office of the City Clerk through 3–1–1.
