Caution: Downtown BRZ turning up the heat with Hot Beverage Week

Lethbridge Downtown BRZ is hosting its annual Hot Beverage Week event, during which you can try a different specialty beverage from one of the participating businesses for 10 days.

Executive Director Sarah Aimees says the event which runs from January 22nd to February 2nd, including Free Sample day on February 1st, is a way to address what she calls the “shoulder season” and bring people to the area.

“You know, aside from the regular old latte, try one of the featured bevies and just have yourself a little winter treat,” Aimees says.

Aimees encourages going to the different businesses that are taking part in trying their highlighted drink and then casting a vote online for whichever one is the favourite. Those who vote will be entered to win a $500 shopping spree.

More information including a list of participating businesses can be found on the Downtown BRZ website.
