Les Kesler is Lethbridge’s latest lottery winner, as he took home $100,000 on the Western Max and Extra lottery.
“I scanned the ticket in-store, saw all the zeroes, scanned it again and gave it to the retailer to check,” he said. “I was very mellow, but other people in the store were yelling, screaming and congratulating me.”
Kesler says his plans for the windfall are to pay off some bills and invest the rest. “It’ll be nice to have the bills taken care of.”
The lottery winner purchased his winning ticket from Savers Convenience Store in north Lethbridge.
