Kodiaks sports in full swing this weekend 

All Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks winter sports teams are competing this weekend. 

Kodiaks basketball will host the Olds College Broncos. The women tip off at 6 p.m. Friday in the Val Matteotti Gymnasium followed by the men at 8 p.m. On Saturday, the teams face off again with games at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

Kodiaks volleyball is on the road at Olds College. First serve Friday will be 6 p.m. for the women with the men starting at 8 p.m. The Kodiaks and Broncos will also play on Saturday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. 

Kodiaks futsal will travel down Highway 3 for a rematch against the Medicine Hat Rattlers on Saturday. The women’s game starts at 6 p.m., followed by the men at 7:30 p.m. 

Indoor track competition in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference also begins this weekend in Edmonton. The men’s and women’s team will travel up to the Kinsmen Sport Centre for their first meet of the season.
