Police investigating pedestrian-involved hit and run

Police are investigating a hit and run involving a pedestrian in Lethbridge. 

The Lethbridge Police Service says at about 5:04 p.m. on Monday, February 10, a young boy was crossing Jerry Potts Boulevard West near Mike Mountain Horse School when he was hit by a vehicle. The LPS did not specify the boy’s age, but note the car involved “made no attempt to stop” and the boy suffered minor injuries. 

Police have provided CCTV images to try and identify the driver and vehicle. 

Anyone who might have been in the area between 4:55 and 5:15 on Monday and who may have witnessed the incident, or who has home security or dashcam footage, is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25002385. Tips can also be sent anonymously to Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
