While temperatures are warming up across southern Alberta, Tuesday’s sub zero temps tied a 14-year record for a town south of Lethbridge.
According to Environment Canada, on Tuesday the temperature in Milk River dropped to -29.4 degrees Celsius without the windchill, tying the the town’s record low for February 18th which was set in 2011.
In Lethbridge temperatures dropped to -29.5 degrees Celsius without the windchill Tuesday, which was still warmer than the -34.6 degrees Celsius record set in 2019.
