Big weekend ahead for the Kodiaks

Basketball and indoor track are on tap this weekend for the Lethbridge Polytechnic Kodiaks.

The men’s basketball team has travelled to the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference Championships in Saskatchewan with games Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

The Kodiaks are hosting the third ACAC Grand Prix of the season at the University of Lethbridge’s indoor track.

“It’s a great opportunity to host an indoor track Grand Prix, as our Kodiaks don’t get the chance to compete on home turf very often,” says Todd Caughlin, Athletics and Recreation Services director.

“The Kodiaks are ready to use this event to prepare and qualify for the upcoming ACAC championships being held in Edmonton Mar. 15-16,” adds Caughlin.
