UPDATE: Lethbridge Police locate man wanted on warrants

UPDATE: The LPS has confirmed that 48-year-old Richard James Shaw, previously wanted on an outstanding property crimes warrant, has been found and is in police custody.

Lethbridge Police need your help to locate a 48-year-old Richard James Shaw who is wanted on an outstanding property crimes warrant for allegedly shoplifting under $5,000. 

Anyone who has seen Shaw or has information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-328-4444 and reference file 24024816. 

Anonymous online tips can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at www.p3tips.com or by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS). Crime Stoppers will pay up to $2,000 cash for information leading to an arrest. 

LPS uses CompStat, a data-driven crime reduction strategy where analytics are used to identify prolific offenders, high-crime areas and the most effective deployment of police resources.
