Tree pruning work causing road closures in north Lethbridge

Traffic is expected to be impacted in north Lethbridge this week as crews complete tree pruning work.

According to City of Lethbridge officials the forestry team will be working along 2nd Avenue North, between 16th Street North and 18th Street North on Tuesday and Wednesday. While crews work from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. roads in this area will be closed.

On Thursday work will move to the 1800 block of 2nd Avenue North and the road closure in this area is scheduled from 8 a.m. to around 3:30 p.m.

The work schedule is dependent on the weather dependent and could change if the first area is not completed Wednesday.
