Who is running? A list of local candidates in the 2025 federal election

Canadians will head to the polls for the 2025 federal election on April 28. 

Various candidates are vying for the chance to represent their constituents.  

Below is a list of candidates in ridings in southern Alberta: 

Lethbridge: 

  • Conservative: Rachael Thomas (incumbent)  
  • Liberal: Chris Spearman 
  • New Democratic: Nathan Svboda 
  • Green: Amber Murray 
  • People’s Party of Canada: Clara Piedalue 

Locally, the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce is set to host an all-candidates forum on Tuesday, April 8. The location for the forum has yet to be determined.
