Lethbridge County has lifted seasonal road bans on paved and hard top roads.
The bans were put in place in March.

It is a move done every spring when the frost starts to come out of the ground. Officials explain that the warmer weather and frost thaw makes the roads more susceptible to damage from heavy equipment, which can lead to costly repairs that impact taxpayers.
“The County’s Infrastructure and Operations departments have been closely monitoring our road network over the past two months to determine when conditions are right to lift the bans,” the County says in a news release.
“Lethbridge County thanks road users for their cooperation this spring in adhering to road bans and protecting our valuable transportation system so everyone can travel safely.”
For provincial highways, those are managed by Alberta Transportation, with bans also issued on those roads.
A list of highway bans is available on the provincial government website.
