Beyond-the-Bin Recycling Roundup returns June 7

On June 7, the City of Lethbridge is hosting another Beyond-the-Bin Recycling Roundup to collect old electronics, paint, used oil and household hazardous waste from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the northwest parking lot at Park Place Mall. 

Which items can I bring? 

  • Electronics (corded and cordless/battery-powered) 
  • Paint, solvent stain and related items 
  • Used oil 
  • Batteries 
  • Anything that displays a hazard symbol (corrosive, flammable, reactive/explosive, toxic/poisonous), including but not limited to: 
  • Pesticides and herbicides 
  • Cleaning products 
  • Automotive cleaning and maintenance products 
  • Aerosol containers 

Which items are not accepted? 

  • Anything over 20 litres (five gallons) 
  • Needles/biomedical materials 
  • Large appliances

This event is for residential materials only. Electronics, paint, used oil and household hazardous waste can be dropped off at the Waste and Recycling Centre year-round.
