Police seeking two men in connection with sexual assault investigation

Police in Lethbridge are asking for help with an ongoing sexual assault investigation.

The Lethbridge Police Service says on Friday, June 27, officers responded to a report that a 14-year-old boy had been sexually assaulted by an unknown man in the bathroom at Park Place Mall. Police say they received video footage that shows the suspect, as well as a second, uninvolved man. They report that both men got into an SUV and left the area shortly after the alleged incident.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man, 60-to-70-years-old, about 6’ tall with a slim build. Police say he was wearing a black coat and black hat.

The uninvolved man is described as a 60-to-70-year-old Caucasian, standing roughly 6’ tall with a medium build, and was wearing a black and white hat, and a teal shirt.

The LPS says both men entered what is believed to be a 2010-2017 white GMC Terrain SUV with a British Columbia license plate.
