Official renaming of Logan Boulet Arena in north Lethbridge

An official renaming ceremony will be held Saturday (Oct. 26) at Logan Boulet Arena.

This past April, Lethbridge City Council unanimously approved of renaming Adams Park Ice Centre to commemorate the impact Logan Boulet has had on the community and organ donation.

Boulet was one of 16 people killed in the Humboldt Broncos bus crash last year and his decision to become an organ donor saved several lives.

City staff made arrangements over the summer to change the name on the facility in preparation for this hockey season.

A new Logan Boulet display case will also be permanently housed at the arena.
