Blood Tribe woman facing more than 30 charges

A Blood Tribe woman faces charges after police say she was unlawfully at large.

On Thursday, July 10, members of the Southern Alberta RCMP Crime Reduction Unit arrested 36-year-old Chaylee Eagle Plume Bruised Head at a residence in Lethbridge.

They say she had broken her court-ordered tracking device and was reported as being “unlawfully at large”. A warrant was issued for her arrest while she was waiting for a court appearance to address a total of 32 charges stemming from incidents in Calgary, Canmore, Chestermere, Turner Valley, Okotoks, Cochrane, and Strathmore.

The RCMP says Eagle Plume Bruised Head now faces two additional charges of failing to comply with her release order. She is set to be in court on Monday, July 14.
