Lethbridge Police investigating southside assault, seeking witnesses

Police are asking for help with an investigation into a reported southside assault.

The Lethbridge Police Service says it happened at around 7:39 p.m. on Saturday, July 12 at the southside Walmart, located at 3700 Mayor Magrath Drive South.

Officials say a verbal argument between a man and a group started inside the store, then moved outside where it is alleged that a weapon was drawn.

The LPS is specially looking to talk with someone they say is “associated to an Orange Hot Rod with no hood” who might have witnesses the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact LPS at 403-328-4444 and reference file 25012744. Tips can also be provided anonymously to Crime Stoppers online or by calling 1-800-222-8477.
