Coaldale Summer Fest showcases being proudly Canadian

Coaldale Summer Fest is returning at the beginning of August.

The theme for the annual event is “Proudly Canadian – Locally Driven”  with a focus on celebrating everything Canadian and what makes the community shine. Officials say Canadians are known for their community spirit, cultural richness, and strong sense of identity. The annual event which takes over the Coaldale community is said to showcase these values with everyone able to “come together under the red and white banner to celebrate those shared values.”

According to Mayor Jack Van Rijn, “Our 2025 theme speaks to our pride in being Canadian while spotlighting the people, businesses, and organizations that make Coaldale one of the most desirable places in Canada to live, work, and play.”

This year’s event will include the  Coaldale Kinsmen Beer Garden, a movie in the park Friday afternoon, the annual Candy Parade on Saturday and local markets.
