“Each initiative demonstrates the power of community and the importance of investing in spaces where people come together to learn, connect and celebrate the rural way of life.”
The grant program is in its second year under the UFA Agricultural Community Foundation after being led by the UFA Rural Communities Foundation.
“These grants are more than just financial support – they’re a catalyst for connection,” says Kevin Hoppins, advisory board chair of the UFA Foundation.
“As someone deeply rooted in rural Alberta, I’ve seen firsthand how investments in local projects create ripple effects of pride, opportunity and community spirit. We’re proud to support these initiatives and the passionate people who make them happen.”
