Multiple rollovers along Highway 2 due to high wind gusts: M.D. of Willow Creek

High wind gusts are creating hazardous driving conditions and have already caused multiple rollovers along Highway 2 between Nanton and Fort Macleod, according to the M.D. of Willow Creek.

Semi-trucks and trailers are strongly advised to postpone travel in this area until winds diminish.

Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for the region, with wind gusts reaching from 100 to 120 km/hr.

Strong enough to impact high profile vehicles.
