Ag Expo returns this month to the Lethbridge Trade & Convention Centre

Ag Expo returns to the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre Feb. 25-27.

Produced by Excite Lethbridge, the expo is “southern Alberta’s largest and longest-running agricultural trade show.”

According to Excite Lethbridge, tickets are on sale now, as guests can expect to see more than 300 exhibitors showcasing the very latest in agriculture equipment and technology.

This year’s exhibitors include companies representing six provinces and seven states, while showcasing products from six countries.

FCC will show its support for youth in agriculture by offering free admission for children 11 and under, 4-H youth members and University of Lethbridge and Lethbridge Polytechnic students.

“We’re thrilled with the interest in Ag Expo, as this show just keeps increasing in size and popularity,” says Director of Event Development Paul Kingsmith.

As the industry grows and changes, we need to ensure our show is growing and changing with it, representing the very best of what the industry has to offer, notes Kingsmith.

One of the show’s highlights is the North American Seed Fair, which is one of the oldest seed fairs in Western Canada.

Another highlight is the thinkAG Career Discovery Fair Feb. 27.

The fair is a dynamic, hands-on career exploration event that gives students in Grade 8 through 12 a real-world look at the wide-range of opportunities in today’s agriculture and food sectors.
