Honk honk: Big Truck Petting Zoo returns to Lethbridge

The big trucks are taking over!

The annual Big Truck Petting Zoo is set for Saturday, May 23 at the Lethbridge Public Library’s Crossings Branch on the west side of the city.

Attendees will be able to see some of the City of Lethbridge’s vehicles up close, as well as meet the individuals who operate them on a daily basis.

These include vehicles used for construction projects around the city, as well as fire trucks, police cars, waste collection trucks, and buses.

Families can make a day of the event, with food trucks on-site for lunch and snacks, and colouring sheets and art supplies available for kids.

The annual Big Truck Petting Zoo is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Crossings Branch and is free to attend. Officials noted that library patrons will have to park elsewhere if planning to visit, as the parking lot will be occupied by the big trucks.
