The Screen Test program’s mobile mammography trailer will be in Taber next month.
Officials have announced that the trailer will be set up at the Taber Heritage Inn & Conference Centre on July 11 and July 13-15, 2026.
A mammogram is an x-ray of the breast, with officials saying it is the best way to detect breast cancer early, when treatment might work better.
The screenings will be available for free for eligible individuals aged 45 to 74. However, appointments are required and can be made by calling 1-800-667-0604.
