New event for entrepreneurs coming to Lethbridge in November

Excited Lethbridge has announced a new event geared toward local pioneers.

The Entrepreneur Connections Summit will be at the Lethbridge Trade and Convention Centre on Nov. 5, 2026. The one-day conference will include presentations from those in various industries, hands-on breakout sessions, and a Resource Hub.

The Resource Hub will provide attendees with tools they can use to elevate their business.

The event is designed for upstart entrepreneurs, market vendors, food and beverage business owners and others who want to learn more about upscaling their production, improving their marketing, learning how to optimize their financial situation and more.

“At Excite Lethbridge, we work with many small- and medium-sized business owners through the Lethbridge Farmers’ Market, Whoop-Up Days Marketplace and more, and we saw an opportunity to build something that will really help them maximize their businesses,” said Paul Kingsmith, Director of Event Development at Excite Lethbridge.

“Whether their goals are to build a business that could become a market vendor, to get the most out of their market experience, or to upsize their operations, there is a whole community of leaders and resources ready to help. We’re bringing them all together into what will be one amazing day of connection and growth.”

Dalene Heck will deliver a keynote speech. Officials said Heck will share her story of building a globally recognized travel brand after she survived a rare form of leukemia.

Other speakers and Resource Hub attendees will come from both the local area and around Alberta to share their stories to inspire budding entrepreneurs.

Tickets for the Entrepreneur Connections Summit are on sale now. Advance pricing is on until Oct. 5, and special pricing is available to all youth, high school, and post-secondary students. Tickets are available through the Excite Lethbridge website.

Officials added that more speakers are expected to be announced in the coming months.
