Fallen Firefighters Memorial Parade

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services honoured those who made the ultimate sacrifice during the annual Fallen Firefighters Memorial Parade on Friday.

According to the City of Lethbridge, the annual memorial provides an opportunity to remember firefighters, and other uniformed personnel, who lost their lives in the line of duty. “It also recognizes the service, dedication, and sacrifice of those who continue to serve their communities.

The memorial parade began at Fire Station #1 and continued east along 4 Avenue South through downtown.

Uniformed members marched in the parade, led by the Honour Guard and pipe band.
