Multiple south Lethbridge schools were on an external lockdown Tuesday afternoon, as Lethbridge Police investigated a possible weapons complaint in the area.
The external lockdowns at four southside schools have now been lifted.
Police have taken one male youth into custody, and the investigation is ongoing.
Members of the public were advised to avoid the area, and as a precaution St. Francis Junior High School, Catholic Central High School, Ecole St. Mary Elementary, and Lethbridge Collegiate Institute implemented external lockdowns.
