LPS cadets participating in shooting exercise this week

Cadets with Lethbridge Police are participating in a shooting training exercise at the police range this week.

The LPS said cadets will train during the daytime Oct. 7 and Oct. 8, with low-light/no-light shooting exercises planned to go until 11 p.m. on Oct. 9.

Residents around the police range can expect to hear shots being fired over the next three days. However, the LPS said there is no risk to the public as this is routine training.
