Searches in Claresholm & MD of Willow Creek turn up stolen property

CLARESHOLM, AB. – A 23 year old Claresholm man is facing several property related offences after RCMP conducted two search warrants on Tuesday (Jan. 26).

The first at a residence in Claresholm turned up several stolen items.

That search led to a second property in the MD of Willow Creek where more stolen items were recovered by police.

Jordan Toth has been charged with break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, and failing to comply with a release order.

He was also arrested on numerous outstanding arrest warrants totalling another 16 Criminal Code offences.

Toth is due in Lethbridge Provincial Court this week.

Two more people, a man and a woman, were released from police custody with a future court date for property, weapons and drug related offences.
