New draw added to Open for Summer Lottery

EDMONTON, AB – Your name can be added to a fourth lotto draw of the summer … if you’ve got your COVID-19 vaccine.

More than 1.6 million Albertans have already entered the Open for Summer Lottery which includes three draws worth $1 million each, travel packages from Air Canada and WestJet, and Calgary Stampede prizes.

A new draw, just announced Tuesday, will give everyone who’s gotten a first dose by July 22 the chance to win season tickets for the CFL, VIP NHL packages and rounds of golf in Kananaskis.

That draw takes place July 29.

The $1 million draws are set for Canada Day and late August and September.
